Socotra

dsc_7136.jpg Between 2007 and 2010 I’ve been in Socotra three times, joining an Italian field expedition aimed at deepen the informations about the ecology and taxonomy of the herpetofauna of the archipelago, under the Socotra Conservation and Development Project (SCDP). Thus, I’ve been able to collect pictures of most reptile species (there are no amphibians in Socotra). Moreover, I’ve also taken some pictures of other creatures, ranging from Caralluma (meat stinking flowers) to spiders and scorpions.
